Patti Payne’s Cool Pads: Mercer Island waterfront estate listed for $7 million

The Zen-like estate at 6430 E. Mercer Way is on the market for $6.98 million.

Windermere brokers Anna Riley and Feng Hong have the listing for this waterfront manse, which belongs to a private family with homes across the globe.

The Mercer Island home totals 5,577 square feet, with four bedrooms and four bathrooms. It is on more than a half acre of lush grounds with 65 feet of waterfront and a dock that accommodates a large yacht.

“This is one of the most resort-style properties I have ever represented,” says Riley. “The grounds make you feel like you are on holiday.”

There’s a swim-up bar in the infinity pool, a babbling brook with reflection ponds and meditation areas complete with a Japanese-style wishing well. On both sides of the property there are tall stands of bamboo for privacy.

Riley describes the interior as a playground for owners and friends. The kitchen is enormous, and in one wing of the kitchen is a large bar with a built-in keg tap.
